dos pueblos ranch reconstruction
super 8mm film | santa barbara, barn weddings
At the tail end of my wedding season last year I was traveling WAY too much. Spending so much time away from home and heading over from location to location it was so difficult to stay focused and inspired. I remember being on my last connecting flight from Phoenix AZ to Santa Barbara, CA… and thinking I want to do more local projects for the community, what can I do to inspire myself. I’m a crazy guy who thinks the universe is always listening, and it was! Right at landing I checked my iphone and realized that I had an email from Kerstin of Blue Magnolia floral and event design wanting to chat with me about a “special project”. Kerstin introduced me to Tricia Fountaine regarding the reconstruction of Dos Pueblos Ranch. I jumped at the opportunity and was excited to be a part of this documentation process! Here is a clip of what I shot through the course of about a couple of weeks worth of reconstruction that finalizes in the beautiful details of a wedding designed by Tricia. Braedon Flynn was the hired photographer and captured amazing memories for his clients, you can check out his photos here.
I am excited to have documented such an incredible place with such great history.
A special thanks to Tad Wagner who was also a part of this, his song is in this clip!
more complete projects of the barn and Dos Pueblos Ranch property coming in the near future!

Isn’t it amazing when the universe responds like that? What an incredible film!
you’re amazing! tricia & her husband put so much love into that barn – how special for them to have it documented so artistically!
WOW, I have been to this location before. Great to see that you captured it in super 8!
Pure Kismet!!! It was written in the stars that you were to do this!! I Thank You so very much for sharing and capturing the hard work that Tricia and her hubby – as well as the workers- are doing for the ranch! It is exactly as I imagine -if not better! Your extraordinary talent is noticed !!
BRAVO!!!!
