Trish and Rory LOVE Ray LaMontagne and I love them for that! He is definitely one of my favorite musician and his voice always makes me cry, its rare for a singer to do that and when I listen to his music it gives me the chills and I am grateful for that. Trish and Rory’s ceremony was at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel in Montecito Ca. This church is absolutely beautiful, the art work inside the church and color pallets are so inspirational for film and really make beautiful art in capturing it! The chandeliers of the church give a special light, not too harsh and not too bright, a few windows bring in just enough light to mood and environment as you can see in this short highlight film.
Sometimes couples have a special connection, no words are needed just a simple smile and or kiss is perfect and you can see that Trish and Rory have a very special connection. I can never stop expressing how being around couples who are in LOVE makes me so excited to film them! I was thrilled to be working alongside some of my favorite vendors at this wedding. Jill Lafleur Wedding Planner extraordinaire planned the event, and as always every detail was not left unnoticed…everything always runs absolutely smooth and on time with her and I LOVE working in this environment because it makes my job easy! Of course I worked alongside Jose Villa and his photos were spectacular!
The Bacara Resort & Spa is such a beautiful place to have a reception and the sunsets are GORGEOUS as you can see in this clip! The floral design by Camilla Suensson really vamped up this ballroom space and made such an elegant feel. The lighting really set the mood in this wedding and I have to thank Geoff of Ambient Event for this, every time I work with them I know the lighting will be beautiful and make such a huge difference in the decor! Thank you Trish and Rory for inviting me to capture such a special day in your lives!
